Finally, 8 months of hard work and tireless selfless efforts of the organizing team has seen us realize this vision and make it a reality.

PestWorld East 2016

Dr. Anil Rao from PCI

This is indeed a proud moment for every Indian pest management professional, who puts in great committed efforts everyday to manage homes, offices & public properties from diseases, damage to property & other detrimental impacts of pests.

India is going through a positive transformative phase and one of the pivotal support of its growth prospects lies in the urgent need for improvement of public health. This is crucial considering that there have been over 20 lakh human casualties reported since 2015 due to mosquito vector related diseases as per provisional data of NVBDCP (National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. About 95% population in the country resides in malaria endemic areas.

Similarly, rodents & termites are damaging millions worth of public property, food resources, etc every year. Cockroaches are associated with food contamination, Diarrhea, asthma, etc.

With Rs 31 trillion (US$ 454.83 billion) to be spent on infrastructure development over the next five years and Crore of Rupees going to be spent on the growth of the nation, these investments & outcomes are greatly at risk directly or indirectly due to the impact of pests.
