It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the 45th Annual Convention is being held on 31st August & 1st September, 2012 at Hotel Taj Bengal, 34–B Belvedere Road, Alipore, Kolkata – 700027, West Bengal.
Kolkata, located on the west bank of the Hoogly river, is the capital of the state of West Bengal. It is interesting to explore the origin & history of this bustling city, which was formerly called Calcutta and was the capital of British India until 1911.
Calcutta, the City of Joy, was established in 1686, as a result of the expansion plans of the British Raj and has historically been a key city for trade and commerce, where the East India Company set base. The name of the city was officially changed to Kolkata in 2001, in keeping with the Bengali pronunciation.
IPCA has for long not had a workshop / convention in the East Zone, therefore we thought it was an opportune time to have our Annual Convention in Kolkata this year.
As you are aware, IPCA Annual Conventions is a unique opportunity for representatives and professionals from the Professional Pest Management Industry to gather and interact on various issues. Needless to say, IPCA’s Annual Convention is the most looked out for and most talked about Convention each year.
This year’s Convention promises to be nothing but the best, with renowned speakers, experts and professionals from India and abroad gracing the occasion, together with senior officials and dignitaries from various government departments.
