This wonderful event was conceived through the committed vision of some our own members, with the aim of bringing the globally recognized professional pest management event platform to India, so that those members who haven’t traveled overseas can experience such a prestigious conference in India at a more reasonable value.
Finally, 8 months of hard work and tireless selfless efforts of the organizing team has seen us realize this vision and make it a reality.
This is indeed a proud moment for every Indian pest management professional, who puts in great committed efforts everyday to manage homes, offices & public properties from diseases, damage to property & other detrimental impacts of pests.
India is going through a positive transformative phase and one of the pivotal support of its growth prospects lies in the urgent need for improvement of public health. This is crucial considering that there have been over 20 lakh human casualties reported since 2015 due to mosquito vector related diseases as per provisional data of NVBDCP (National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. About 95% population in the country resides in malaria endemic areas.
Similarly, rodents & termites are damaging millions worth of public property, food resources, etc every year. Cockroaches are associated with food contamination, Diarrhea, asthma, etc.
With Rs 31 trillion (US$ 454.83 billion) to be spent on infrastructure development over the next five years and Crore of Rupees going to be spent on the growth of the nation, these investments & outcomes are greatly at risk directly or indirectly due to the impact of pests.
IPCA has been at the forefront of contributing towards Public Health in India. As Guardians of Public Health we are committed to create public awareness on vector borne illnesses & other impacts of pests. The Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA) is a non-profit trade association of professional pest management companies in India. Founded in 1967, it is the premier association of the professional pest management companies, with over 300 members throughout the country.
The PestWorld East 2016 in India is one-of-a-kind conference that is designed to address the public health related pest management challenges specific to India, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
The event will showcase in-depth information on various aspects of professional pest management services right from structural pest management to fumigation services. Internationally acclaimed distinguished speakers from USA, Malaysia, Europe and our own India, will enlighten us on the intricacies, challenges & strategies on topics that cover cockroach management, rodent management, termite management & other topics. This is a golden opportunity to hear & interact with the subject matter experts and the masters.
In line with our Honorable Prime Minister’s pet initiative of “SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAAN” in making India a better and cleaner country, the Indian pest control fraternity stands committed in supporting as crucial stakeholders in maintaining public property, human health & our environment through effective intervention of our services in the country.
I once again welcome all of you to be an active part of this prestigious event where we all will experience knowledge sharing on global pest management practices, latest information & technology & opportunities to network with friends of our fraternity.
