The Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA) proudly participated in the prestigious FAOPMA Pest Summit 2025, held from July 14 to 16 at the world- class St. Giles Hotel, Malaysia. The event drew pest management professionals, researchers, and companies from across Asia and Oceania. The summit was inaugurated with a warm welcome at Penang International Airport, setting a vibrant tone for three days of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. Representing India, the IPCA delegation included leading figures from the pest management industry, showcasing the nation’s growing role in global pest control and urban hygiene solutions.
Throughout the summit, attendees explored themes around sustainable pest management, new technologies, regulatory updates, and business development in the industry. Indian representatives were actively involved in panel discussions, networking sessions, and exhibitor engagements with key international stakeholders.
“FAOPMA continues to be a global platform that drives the industry forward. IPCA’s presence reinforces India’s commitment to innovation, quality, and responsible pest management,” said one of the senior IPCA delegates. The camaraderie and strong representation from India were evident in various group sessions and breakout meetings. The event also gave participants a valuable opportunity to understand emerging pest challenges, environmental
standards, and digital tools shaping the future of the sector.
As IPCA continues to expand its global outreach, this summit was not only a platform for learning but also for forming strategic partnerships that benefit both Indian businesses and the broader Asia-Pacific pest management
